Dzogchen Community

The International Dzogchen Community (IDC) is a non-bureaucratic organization and is based on the development of systems of communication which respect the various autonomous local conditions. It was funded by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.

For Chögyal Namkhai Norbu the various Gars (literally meaning dwelling) make up one great mandala or a network that connects the different geographical areas of the world and to which practitioners can refer as places of study or practice and meditation. Several Lings are connected to the Gars, one of these Lings is Yeselling.

There are five Gars in various places around the world:

• Merigar West and Merigar East for Europe
• Tsegyalgar East and Tsegyalgar West for North America
• Tashigar Norte and Tashigar Sur for South America
• Namgyalgar for Australia
• Kunsangar for Russia
