This retreat is based on the Longsal teachings of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu “The Crucial Preliminaries of the Path of Ati, Longsal Commentaries Volume Three.”

The purification of the causes of the six lokas. Explanation and practice according to the Teachings of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu. The Crucial Preliminaries of the Path of Ati, Longsal Commentaries, Volume Three. The practice of the Purification of the causes of the six lokas is an important teaching of the Dzogchen teachings. Chögyal Namkhai Norbu has transmitted various version of this practice in different locations over many years. In this retreat we will exclusively follow the instructions given in the book Longsal Commentaries, Volume Three, which are based on a cycle of Upadesha teachings discovered in dreams by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu called The Luminous Clarity of the Universe, Heart Essence of the Dakinis. We will not only listen to the explanations of Rinpoche and follow the text of this teachings, but we will also apply the practice combined with the Vajrasattva purification.

Oliver Leick was born and lives in Austria. Until his retirement he has worked as a schoolteacher. In 1977 he has met his teacher Chögyal Namkhai Norbu and under his guidance he studied and practiced for more than 46 years. In 2010 he became an authorized teacher of the worldwide Dzogchen Community and has given more than 200 retreats all over the world. Oliver Leick has translated several texts and books from English into German and up to now has compiled two books: Yantra Yoga, the Yoga of Movements (Edition Tsaparang 1988, out of print), and The Story Book (Shang Shung Publications 2024).
